My sister always came home from school and told stories about Foothill. I didn't have to think hard about my decision between Buena or Foothill. Foothill sounded nice and fun. Buena sounded horrible. I chose Foothill because I wanted to go to a good collage.
My sister Karmen had many stories about Foothill that I thought were very interesting. She told me about the activities that they had like art and dance. After school she would come home and I would see her dance routines. So I signed up for both dance and art. I was the one with the decision to go to Foothill. no one was forcing me to go. I also didn't have any friends there.
At the beginning of the year I was confused about the schedule. I didn't see a pattern in it until the second week. I didn't know where any of my classes were. I was really worried that I would forget a class and walk into the wrong class. I was excited to meet new people and see some of my old friends from elementary school. I also worried about how much homework I would get and how hard the classes would be.
Half way through the first quarter I still feel like this is a better choice than Buena. I feel like Foothill is more excepting. It’s easier to find my classes here rather than Buena. I do have a lot of biology homework and a lot of tests in geography. The classes are easy right now. All you have to do is the homework and work in class and you will have an A.
I think Foothill was a good choice for high school. I am having fun here now and I can’t wait for the next three years here.
